Drew Santini is a Canadian baritone known for his versatile performances in opera, oratorio, and chamber music, as well as his involvement in a wide range of musical projects. With a broad command of repertoire spanning several historical periods, he is particularly celebrated for his expressive and stylistically informed interpretations of Baroque and Classical music. He has performed with esteemed ensembles such as the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, Gli Angeli Genève, The English Concert, Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, the Orchestra of the 18th Century, Ensemble Masques, and the Netherlands Bach Society. 

Recent highlights of Drew's concert career include his debut with the Orchestra of the 18th Century, singing the role of Guglielmo in a tour of Così fan tutte conducted by Manoj Kamps and directed by Lisenka Heijboer Castañón. He has also performed John Blow’s Venus & Adonis with Ensemble Masques in France and Spain, Handel’s Messiah with Nieuwe Philharmonie Utrecht under Johannes Leertouwer, and a program of Bach with the Luthers Bach Ensemble and guest conductor Ton Koopman. Additionally, he appeared in Bach’s Matthäus-Passion with the Netherlands Bach Society, conducted by Johanna Soller.

On the opera stage, Drew toured with 8:Metamorphosis, a dance opera by Nicole Beutler Projects, and has performed leading roles in several notable productions, including William in Philip Glass’ The Fall of the House of Usher with Opera2Day, Le Mari in Poulenc’s Les Mamelles de Tirésias at the Dutch National Opera under Roger Vignoles, and Ben in Menotti’s The Telephone in a co-production between the Nederlandse Reisopera and Gothenburg Opera.

As a co-founder of the Damask Vocal Quartet, Drew contributed to the ensemble’s critically acclaimed 2018 album O schöne Nacht, which won the prestigious ‘Choc de Classica’ award in France. He has also recorded with Gli Angeli Genève, La Bande Montréal Baroque, BachPlus, and Oerknal! New Music Collective, and appears in over 25 works for the ‘All of Bach’ project, an initiative by the Netherlands Bach Society to record Bach's complete oeuvre.

Drew holds a Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School and a Bachelor of Music from the Manhattan School of Music. He currently resides in The Hague, Netherlands.
